Solarcon MAX Optimizer Base Station Antenna 10m & 11m/CB, 5000W (Upgraded IMAX-2000)

The Solarcon MAX Optimizer is the upgraded successor to the IMAX-2000 — a high-performance base station antenna for the 10m amateur band and 11m CB band (26–33.5 MHz), rated at 5000W. The key innovation is the 12" optimizer section: install it between the mid and top sections for a 4-piece build optimised for 11m/CB performance, or leave it out for a 3-piece build with balanced 10m/11m coverage.

Using patented tuning rings and top section trimming, the MAX Optimizer covers 26–33.5 MHz with a 3 MHz bandwidth at SWR <2:1 — approximately twice the bandwidth of the A-99 and IMAX-2000. The entire antenna radiates, producing 1–2 dB more gain than competing 5/8 wavelength antennas. Long ferrules provide mechanical strength, and the mounting system allows straightforward one-piece installation.

Add the MAX-GPK ground plane kit for further performance improvement.
