The Sirio Bull Trucker 5000 RG58 Coax LED is a high-power, base-loaded mobile antenna engineered in Italy for CB 27MHz and 10-metre amateur radio use. With an impressive 5000W ICAS power handling, a tunable frequency range of 27–30 MHz, and a bandwidth of ≥1.4 MHz at SWR ≤2, it's built for operators who demand maximum power capability from their mobile installation. The LED indicator lights up on transmit for a clear visual TX confirmation. This coax version comes supplied with a 4m (13.12ft) RG58 cable for a clean, integrated thru-hole installation — no external connector required at the antenna base. Standing at 1665mm (5.46ft) and constructed from copper, chromed brass, stainless steel 17/7 PH, and UV-stabilised thermoplastic for outstanding durability on the road.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between this and the standard Bull Trucker 5000?
This RG58 Coax version has the coaxial cable directly integrated into the antenna base, making it designed for thru-hole (through-body) mounting where the cable is routed internally through the vehicle. The standard Bull Trucker 5000 uses a 3/8"x24 thread connector at the base, requiring a separate mount and coax connection.
Does it require tuning?
Yes. It is tunable across 27–30 MHz, allowing you to optimise SWR for your specific CB or 10m operating frequency. A SWR meter is recommended for initial setup.
What does ICAS mean?
ICAS stands for Intermittent Commercial and Amateur Service — the peak power rating under intermittent use conditions. The 5000W ICAS rating makes this antenna suitable for high-power SSB and AM operation on CB and 10m.
Can it be used for 10m amateur radio?
Yes. The tunable range of 27–30 MHz covers the full 10-metre amateur band (28–29.7 MHz), making it equally suited to licensed 10m operators as well as CB users.
What cable is included and how long is it?
The antenna is supplied with a 4m (13.12ft) RG58 coaxial cable that is directly integrated into the antenna base. This is designed for thru-hole installations where the cable is routed through the vehicle body or roof.
What connector does the cable terminate with?
The 4m RG58 cable terminates with a PL-259 (UHF Male) plug, compatible with the SO-239 socket found on most CB and HF mobile transceivers.
How does the LED TX indicator work?
The LED integrated into the loading coil housing illuminates automatically when the radio transmits, providing a clear visual confirmation of transmission — useful for checking PTT function and giving the antenna its distinctive trucker appearance.
Is it suitable for HGV and lorry installations?
Yes. The 5000W ICAS power handling, heavy-duty construction, and integrated coax cable make it a popular choice for truck, lorry, and HGV thru-hole installations where a clean, high-performance setup is required.
