The Sharman SG-7900 is a high-performance dual-band mobile whip antenna for 2-metre (144 MHz) and 70cm (430 MHz) amateur radio use, featuring a triple capacitor-loaded coil design for significantly higher gain than standard dual-band mobile antennas. With 5.5 dB gain on 2m and an impressive 8.0 dB on 70cm, it's one of the highest-gain dual-band mobile antennas available — delivering noticeably greater range and signal strength on both bands from a vehicle-mounted installation. The 7/8-wave C-Load design on 2m and 3 x 5/8-wave C-Load on 70cm provide excellent omnidirectional coverage. 150W power handling. At 1.58m fully assembled and 600g, it's a substantial but manageable mobile antenna. Connects via UHF-Male (PL-259) to standard mobile mounts and magnetic bases.
