The OPEK LP-350A is a coaxial lightning arrestor designed to safely discharge static build-up on antenna feedlines before it reaches the sensitive front-end of your receiver or transceiver. Static accumulation on aerials is a genuine and common risk — particularly with vertical antennas and long feedlines — and can cause permanent damage to RF front-ends without warning. The LP-350A installs inline on any 50 Ohm coaxial run, covering DC through 500MHz with less than 0.1dB insertion loss and a 300V DC discharge threshold. SO-239 female-to-female connection makes it compatible with standard PL-259 terminated feedlines.
