MRQ500 Dual Band 2m/70cm Mobile Antenna 200W, 95cm, PL-259

The Moonraker MRQ500 is a dual-band mobile antenna for the 2m and 70cm amateur bands. Its configuration uses a 1/2-wave element on 2m and 2 x 5/8-wave on 70cm, providing useful gain while keeping the overall antenna length to approximately 95cm.

The MRQ500 uses a PL-259 fitting and incorporates a fold-over base, allowing the whip to be tilted down for garages and other low-clearance situations.

Installation

The MRQ500 is designed for a compatible SO-239 mobile antenna mount or magnetic base. A suitable mount and coaxial feedline are required unless already present on the vehicle.
