The Moonraker Mini-270 is a compact dual-band magnetic mount antenna kit for 2-metre (144–148 MHz) and 70cm (430–450 MHz) amateur radio use — supplied as a complete, ready-to-use kit with magnetic mount, 4 metres of RG58 coax cable, and a fitted PL-259 plug. Designed for simple, discreet on-the-go installation, the Mini-270 is ideal for operators who want a quick-deploy mobile antenna without permanent vehicle modifications. The magnetic base attaches securely to any steel roof or boot lid and can be removed in seconds. At 49.5cm, it's noticeably more compact than full-size dual-band mobile antennas, yet delivers surprisingly good performance for its size with 50W power handling and a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better.
