The Moonraker MAG-270 is a compact dual-band magnetic mount antenna kit for 2-metre (144–149 MHz) and 70cm (430–440 MHz) amateur radio use — a simple plug-and-play mobile solution requiring no permanent vehicle modifications. The magnetic base attaches securely to any steel roof or boot lid and can be removed in seconds, making it ideal for operators who share a vehicle or need a quick-deploy mobile setup. Pre-tuned for both bands straight out of the box. 3.0 dBd gain on 70cm, 100W power handling, and VSWR of 1.5:1 or better. Supplied complete with 4 metres of RG58 coax cable and a fitted PL-259 plug for direct connection to your radio. Rubber-protected magnetic base prevents scratching the vehicle paintwork.
