K-PO MB+5 P6 6-Pin Desk Power Microphone with VU Meter

The K-PO MB+5 P6 is an amplified desk microphone designed for CB and amateur-radio transceivers using the compatible standard 6-pin microphone wiring. It combines adjustable microphone gain and tone controls with a built-in compressor and analogue VU meter for monitoring modulation level during transmission.

K-PO specifies approximately 35dB of built-in microphone amplification. The output level can be adjusted to suit the connected transmitter, while the internal audio equalisation allows the transmitted sound to be tailored to the operator's preference.
