Hustler 5-BTV 5-Band HF Vertical Antenna 10/15/20/40/75-80m

The Hustler 5 BTV is a five-band HF trap vertical antenna designed for the 10m, 15m, 20m, 40m and 75/80m amateur bands. It provides automatic band selection through individually tuned traps and is well suited to fixed-station installations where a compact vertical footprint is preferred.

The 5-BTV uses heavy-wall aluminium tubing, fibreglass trap forms and stainless-steel hardware. The 75/80m section uses the supplied resonator and spider assembly, allowing the antenna to be tuned for the required portion of the 75 or 80 metre band.

Installation

The 5-BTV can be ground mounted or elevated. Hustler permits ground mounting with or without radials, while elevated installations require radials. For best performance, a suitable radial system and careful tuning are recommended.

The 75/80m resonator is relatively narrow-band compared with the higher bands and should be adjusted for the part of the band you intend to use most often.
