Diamond RHM-12 Portable HF to 70cm Antenna 7-430MHz

The Diamond RHM-12 is a compact, adjustable portable antenna designed for amateur radio operation from 7MHz to 430MHz, covering HF, 6m, 2m and 70cm operation in a single portable antenna system.

Its adjustable screwdriver-style design allows the antenna to be tuned for the required operating frequency by changing the element position. The telescopic construction extends from approximately 0.6m to 2.75m, making it well suited to portable and temporary station use.

The RHM-12 uses a 1/4-wave configuration from HF to 50MHz and a 5/8-wave configuration on 144MHz and 430MHz. Maximum input power is 120W SSB or 40W FM/CW.

For operation on the lower 1.9MHz and 3.5MHz bands, Diamond offers the optional RHMC12 coil set.

Important Operating Information

The RHM-12 requires an appropriate ground or counterpoise for normal HF operation. When vehicle-mounted, the antenna mount should have proper electrical continuity with the vehicle body. The antenna is intended for stationary or portable operation and should not be used while the vehicle is moving or during rain or strong winds.
