The Chelegance TP16 is a 5-section aluminium antenna mast and tripod designed for portable HF and VHF antenna deployment in the field. Extending from 142cm to 480cm (4.66–15.75ft), it supports antennas up to 8.9kg including the MC-599, JPC-7, and other portable operation antennas. The wide tripod base (787 sq in leg spread) provides solid stability on uneven terrain, and the 5/8" stud with 1/4"-20 threaded top ensures broad antenna compatibility. Compared to earlier 3.85m tripod models, the TP16 offers increased height, improved rigidity, and reduced signal interference — ideal for SOTA, POTA, field day, and expedition use.
