The Ampro 40 is a helical-wound HF mobile whip antenna for the 40m band (7 MHz) — available in Moonraker and Sigma versions. Designed for mobile HF operation, the helical winding delivers full-size electrical performance in a manageable 245cm physical length, making it a practical choice for 40m mobile operation.

Rated at 250W and with a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better, it's well suited to SSB, CW, and digital operation on the 40m band — one of the most reliable HF bands for regional and medium-distance communication day and night. The 60 kHz bandwidth is typical for a loaded 40m mobile antenna; you may need to retune when moving between the CW, digital, and phone portions of the band. The 3/8" thread fitting is compatible with the vast majority of mobile antenna mounts and magnetic bases.
