The Ampro 17 is a helical-wound HF mobile whip antenna for the 17m band (18 MHz) — available in Moonraker and Sigma versions. Designed for mobile HF operation, the helical winding delivers full-size electrical performance in a compact 200cm physical length, making it one of the more manageable antennas in the Ampro range for vehicle use.

Rated at 250W and with a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better, it's well suited to SSB and digital operation on the 17m band — a popular WARC band known for good DX propagation. The 160 kHz bandwidth provides generous coverage across the band. The 3/8" thread fitting is compatible with the vast majority of mobile antenna mounts and magnetic bases.
