The Sirio Bull Trucker 3000 PL LED is a high-power, base-loaded trucker-style mobile antenna engineered in Italy for CB 27MHz and 10-metre amateur radio use. With an impressive 3500W ICAS power handling, a tunable frequency range of 27–30 MHz, and a bandwidth of ≥1.1 MHz at SWR ≤2, it's built for serious operators who demand maximum power capability from their mobile installation. The LED indicator lights up on transmit, giving you a clear visual confirmation that you're on air. Standing at 1445mm (4.74ft) with a PL-259 on-connector mount for quick, tool-free installation, it's constructed from copper, chromed brass, stainless steel 17/7 PH, and UV-stabilised thermoplastic for outstanding durability on the road.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Bull Trucker 3000 PL and the Bull Trucker 5000?
The main differences are power handling and connector type. The 3000 PL is rated at 3500W ICAS and uses a PL-259 (UHF-Male) on-connector mount, connecting directly to an SO-239 socket on your antenna mount. The Bull Trucker 5000 is rated at 5000W ICAS and uses a 3/8"x24 thread mount. Choose the 3000 PL if your existing mount has an SO-239 socket.
Does it require tuning?
Yes. It is tunable across 27–30 MHz, allowing you to optimise SWR for your specific CB or 10m operating frequency. A SWR meter is recommended for initial setup.
What does ICAS mean?
ICAS stands for Intermittent Commercial and Amateur Service — the peak power rating under intermittent use conditions. The 3500W ICAS rating makes this antenna suitable for high-power SSB and AM operation on CB and 10m.
What connector does it use?
The Bull Trucker 3000 PL uses a PL-259 (UHF-Male) on-connector mount, which plugs directly into an SO-239 socket on your antenna mount — no separate coax connection required at the antenna base.
Can it be used for 10m amateur radio?
Yes. The tunable range of 27–30 MHz covers the full 10-metre amateur band (28–29.7 MHz), making it equally suited to licensed 10m operators as well as CB users.
How does the LED TX indicator work?
The LED integrated into the loading coil housing illuminates automatically when the radio transmits, providing a clear visual confirmation of transmission — useful for checking PTT function and giving the antenna its distinctive trucker look.
How long is the antenna?
The Bull Trucker 3000 PL stands 1445mm (approximately 4.74ft / 57 inches) tall — a practical length for most vehicle installations including trucks, vans, and HGVs.
Is it suitable for HGV and lorry installations?
Yes. The 3500W ICAS power handling, heavy-duty construction, and direct PL-259 connector make it a popular choice for truck, lorry, and HGV installations where a high-performance, easy-to-connect setup is required.
