WILSON LITTLE WIL

The Little Wil uses Wilson’s exclusive low loss coil design and is patterned after the proven performance of the Wilson 1000 and 500.
The Little Wil out performs all similar types of small base loaded antennas. It was designed specifically for users who want a high performance antenna with a short whip, at a low price. The Wilson tradition of designing an antenna that offers maximum efficiency for the cost is continued with the Little Wil.

1. Remove "Little Wil" from box.
2. Discard large flat metal washer. (It is used only to hold antenna in place during shipping & handling)
3. Insert the whip until thw whip rests on the bottom of the chrome antenna adjustment mast. (the whip is generally longer than necessary for CH 1-40 operation.)
4. If you have access to an SWR meter, put it between the CB radio Antenna jack and the Wilson "little Wil" connector.
5. Check the SWR on CH1 and CH40. If the SWR is lower on CH1 than on CH40, cut 1/4" from the top of the whip and recheck SWR. Repeat until SWR is approximately the same on CH1 and CH40.
6. If the SWR is higher on CH1 and lower on CH40, pull the whip out 1/4" and recheck SWR. Repeat until SWR is approximately the same on CH1 and CH40.
7. It is important that the car or truck doors are shut while making SWR measurements. Also, the vehicle should be at least 30 ft. from any metal, wire or structures.
