The double-wall coil cover is moulded from high-impact Mobay plastic for durability, and the antenna is tunable across 26–30 MHz via the 10" stainless steel shaft and 49" stainless steel whip. Reduced static interference and a standard 3/8"-24 thread on the shaft make it compatible with the vast majority of mobile mounts.
