The Spring-BSS is a large stainless steel barrel spring designed specifically for large HF whip antennas. Fitted between the antenna and mount, it absorbs wind load and road vibration, allowing the whip to flex under stress and return to vertical — protecting both the antenna base and the mount from fatigue and damage.

Stainless steel construction offers superior corrosion resistance compared to chrome-plated steel springs, making it the preferred choice for exposed or marine mobile installations. 3/8" male thread on the mount side, 3/8" female thread on the antenna side — a direct in-line fit for standard 3/8" mobile antenna setups.
