The Moonraker MRP-2000 Mk2 is a wideband pre-amplifier for scanners and receivers, covering 25–2000 MHz with 6–20 dB of adjustable gain. A pre-amplifier boosts weak incoming signals before they reach your scanner's receiver, improving sensitivity and allowing you to hear distant or weak transmissions that would otherwise be lost in the noise floor. Particularly useful for airband, marine, amateur radio, and PMR monitoring where signals from distant stations can be marginal. Powered by a standard PP3 9V battery for immediate portable use — no mains supply required. Supplied complete with a BNC patch lead. 

Important: Not suitable for use with Helium Network TX devices.
