The Sigma Venom 5/8 High Gain is a 5/8λ wave silver rod CB base station antenna supplied with 3 radials for installations where a natural ground plane is not available — such as non-conductive masts or elevated mounting positions. The radials provide the ground plane reference needed for correct antenna operation and optimal SWR, making this the preferred version for most mast-mounted base station setups.

Covers 26–28 MHz with a gain of 4.2 dBi and maximum power handling of 1,000 Watts. The 5/8λ wave design provides a lower radiation angle than a quarter-wave antenna, directing more signal towards the horizon for improved ground-wave CB range. SWR 1:1.3 at resonance. SO-239 (UHF female) connector. Overall height approximately 5,800mm (19ft).
